STRS OHIO WATCHDOGS (attention active teacher members),

Ballots for the active STRS seat will be mailed out March 31, and your ballot must be returned by May 1.  You can vote by mail, phone or internet.  Please look for your ballot instructions. Vote for your future by voting for Pat Davidson. 

The Watchdogs have endorsed Pat Davidson because of his investment knowledge and depth of understanding of the issues facing teachers. Pat will bring a steady responsible approach to the STRS Board and is resolute in moving your pension system away from the top heavy alternative investments.  These private equity investments are seeped with secret trade agreements and contain hidden fees which waste your monies. Pat also understands STRS must work towards allowing you to retire earlier, so another of his goals is to make sure your monies are moved into safe and transparent investments. Lastly, members need inflation protection after they retire. Currently, teachers are facing a retirement with nothing. Contrast Pat Davidson with his opponent.

Pat's opponent has constantly voted to support STRS management. This has led you down the path of working longer and paying more for less.  Pat's opponent is currently campaigning on, because of his approach of supporting management, that last year STRS was able to pay a one-time 3% COLA (after six years of members not receiving anything). The problem is a simple fact check of the March 17, 2022 Board Minutes reveals, that Mr. Lard is being disingenuous, he  DID NOT VOTE FOR THE ONE-TIME-COLA.  Our members need a credible trustee.   Cast your ballot  for Pat Davidson.
