Resume Strophe connection after page refresh

Hi

Is it possible to suspend/resume a Strophe connection? I have to make
the xmpp part on a webpage refresh/reload resistent so to
speak(achieved only by client side).

I tried to do this by storing the rid,sid,jid as cookies and after
page reload work with connection.attach(Connection was established
successful at the first page visit). But after attach I only get
"Could not locate connection: ....." response. Apache 2.2 and Openfire
3.7 is used. Is such a behaviour like refresh resistent possible at
all?.

Any hint would be helpful thanks.
