Tactical Urbanism - Weinland Park 8/24 @10am

Good morning everyone! 

Apologies for the late notification. We are completing a sidewalk "refresh" on a muddy, grass-covered section of sidewalk in Weinland Park this coming Saturday morning, starting at 10am. The existing pathway is brick, buried by grass & dirt (and mud, after it rains...). This sidewalk is the main path to the only nearby bus stop which heads downtown, so it is an area with high foot traffic, in a walkable neighborhood. 

This specific sidewalk is located at the corner of 4th St and 5th Ave, near Super Deal Auto Body. 

Attached are the relevant links for the project - here is a tools list on which you can sign up to bring tools. Do not hesitate to double up / bring extra! And second is a Google Calendar invite with additional details, including photos of the sidewalk area in question. 

Everyone is welcome to come help - with enough people, we should be able to make quick work of it. No experience in construction or handyman-type projects is required.
