I hope everyone is doing well! Here are a few updates and opportunities to get involved before our July meeting.

July General Meeting
Our next meeting will feature a few short guest presentations, project updates, and discussion about ongoing Strong Towns Columbus efforts. We'll hear from Kaleb Duarte of Knowlton Society about this year's Parking Day efforts and from Chet Ridenour about neighboring initiatives, including free neighborhood gathering kits and a grant opportunity for community-building events.

ADU Recipe Card
Our long-awaited ADU Recipe Card is finally here! We'll debut the finished resource at the July meeting and discuss ideas for getting it into the hands of homeowners and neighborhood groups across Columbus.

Habitat for Humanity Build Day
On Saturday, August 15 from 8:30am to 3:30pm, we're partnering with Habitat for Humanity MidOhio for a volunteer build day on one of their first multi-family housing projects. No construction experience is necessary. Training, tools, safety equipment, and lunch will all be provided.

Tactical Urbanism Working Group
Our new Tactical Urbanism Working Group held its first meeting earlier this month and is beginning work on projects like community benches and bike racks. Interested in getting involved? Join us on Monday, July 13 at 6:30 PM at the Columbus Metropolitan Library: Northside Branch.
