Hi Stephen,

I just started looking at the Contiki OS, and found your Wireless
widget device.
As you mentioned somewhere the Contiki OS it is a steep learn curve,
your not wrong!.
Your Contiki 'port' is quite good to help you get your head around the
platform.

Unfortunately the "widgetmesh.h" include seems to be missing? from the
source code distribution.
The file requiring it is
http://strobit.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/widgetmesh/os/platform/avr-rfm12widget/dev/rfm12_drvr.h

Cheers
Rob

G'day Rob,

I'll have to chase it up for you as I haven't looked at it for some time.

Hi Rob,

Just took a look at the source (finally found it) and the widgetmesh.h is in
a directory I missed adding to svn. I'm just adding it now so you should be
able to do an svn update to refresh the required files, most of which are
just stub files that is the start of the widgetmesh stack.

A couple of notes:

The RFM12B Driver for Contiki is completely untested, I had it compiling but
that's as far as I got, the 328p did not have enough resources for packet
queues and neighbour tables etc so has not progressed, in saying that,
Contiki is running on the 328p with the examples in the examples directory,
no rtimer implementation though.

The projects directory structure is based from Freaklabs open zigbee stack
that runs on Contiki, I found it easier to get my head around.

You should be able to just comment out references of the widgetmesh in the
main makefile everything the examples should compile.

For the mesh side of things I have decided to use the Freescale MC1322X
which has plenty of on-chip resources required so will probably re-start
development of the widgetmesh once I get my development boards up and
running.

Stephen....
