Striperhead 2015

Just made my reservations at Nickerson. Will be in the same site as last year (017) from Sunday (Sep 13) to Sunday Sep 20.

Not sure I can make the June excursion. Will have just come back from Lake Placid and need to get ready for our Alaskan trip.

Been trying to understand the new harvest regulations. Really does not impact me either way.

One thing I am definitely doing this year is to bring my 3 wt rod and fish for snapper blues at the causeway. I was surprised how hard they pull on my 9 wt. I think casting small streamers to them would be fun and provide fodder for my frypan.

Not sure about this year. I tentatively will be doing a southwest trip this fall and will be gone some of september and october. If I do not go I will be at striper heads. I may be able to make mini-clave, but have to wait to see about othjer things going on, am in florida right now..
