How many clams are we looking to buy?  Seems like 200 was what I remembered.  They sell them by the clam not by the bushel.  Starting early to get a good deal.

You caught me. I will assume that most people will kick in for clams and I will look for 200. You and I can take care of the extras.

Making pickled beets this afternoon. Why do I pick the hottest day to can?

Will bring down some pickled swiss chard stems. A little too spicy, but I was experimenting with the processing time. Anyone that can eat pickled pike should revel with pickled swiss chard.

Bob Perry has asked about Striperhead dates and I tried to lure him in.
