Swing Cancellation

The frustrating swing in Stringman's gripper has been finally tamed. Using readings from the accelerometer, the robot can now apply Active Swing Cancellation
This is currently an experimental motion task that can be activated with the “swingc” command but will soon be incorporated into regular operation.

Website Update

I’ve redone much of the media on neufangled.com to show off the new gripper, with more video examples, more answers to common questions, and much expanded documentation.
If you were considering buying a Stringman robot once it became a more stable product but still want to get the early adopter perk (permanent 10% off all future products I design) Consider buying the one with the Arpeggio gripper. It’s simplicity and reliability are a big step up from it’s predecessor.
