Hello. I've been having a little trouble with my TEasy Strike. It was working perfectly fine yesterday on the PS3, but it doesn't want to respond today. Currently still works for the Xbox 360. It doesn't auto detect it, so I have to force it to work. I've tried plugging it into my PC holding HK down, but it won't recognize it at all. I've also tried updating it as well with update_atmega168.bat, but it wouldn't allow me to. I've held down different buttons while plugging it in, changed to RS/LS, repositioned the PCB, nothing worked. Is there anything else I could do to try to get it to run?

Thank you for your time.

All,

After doing some brainstorming, it just hit me that it's likely that the d+/d- lines going to the Dual Strike chip are not functioning/connecting. This means the DS is still functional (because the forced mode is responding), but the USB data is not getting to the DS, thus the reason it can't "see" anything. This would cause no auto-detection, no firmware updates to be possible.

I think it might be a bunk 4066 chip, in that case Aaron will have to send it back to me for a quick turn around RMA, but if anyone has any troubleshooting ideas chime in.
