Bought Two New v2 Dual Strike - One Doesn't Work

I bought two new dual strikes. If I plug one in a USB port Windows XP
recognizes it. The other one Windows does not recognize at all.
Nothing happens when I plug it in. What is going on? I paid some
good money for this. Actually, the one that is broke worked only one
time. Then it stopped working when I pulled it out of the USB port
and plugged it in.

Please try to do the firmware update, does that work? If it doesn't contact your seller for an exchange.
