Between Saturday and Sunday's frolicking in the meadow with you
wonderful folks, I am not ashamed to say that I am sore Sore SORE! But
reasonably injury free :o)

What a great time meeting new people, seeing co-workers in a social
setting, and enjoying the day! Thanks for making opening day a great
experience!

I like to think that any pain being felt is dulled by the sweet
sensation of victory

Alas, I bear the weight of my agregious error, in allowing a run to score :(

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind
of battle. Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly,
and leave the rest to God.

"Two of the wisest men I have had the fortune to know are both devout
men of God, both clerics in God's service, and both grow more liberal
with every candle added to their birthday cake. Both managed to become
financially secure, while paying taxes, tithing (yes, a full 10% of
their gross), and (in one case), rising from poverty and raised by
foster parents. Both lived through the last Great Depression. I choose
to follow the example of these men: men of faith, men of character,
liberals." Ed Dorsey

I had a great time Saturday and Sunday. I would also like to mention
that it was very
nice to meet everyone. Sandy and I both, discussed how much we like
our team after
this weekend! Everyone seems to have that good mix of competitive
spirit and desire
for light hearted fun. At least first impressions were good, right!

Although I was a bit sore (mainly one of my toes from kicking with bad
shoes on Sat)
I felt like the game was too short (I guess it was a byproduct of good
defense). Come
back victories are pretty sweet - that one was getting kinda nerve
racking til the 5th.
After the game, I felt like Ginos was a bit packed. It was kind of
hard to get everyone
served and seated together while I was there. Maybe it improved after
I left.

Nice Game! & I look forwarding to seeing most of you next Sunday at
1:30 - 1:45
Especially the girls!!! Girls please be there by 1:45.

Yesterday was a bit of an anomaly in regards to the crowd at the Pub I think.  There were 2-3 birthday parties, a wrestling team, and us there.  Normally Sundays are their dead day so we should be OK in the future.

Tell Sandy we missed her and hope that her grandmother is doing
better. Hope to see you both on Sunday. Yesterday was a
blast!!!!!!!!!!
