Kickball This week - Officials. Final Season Party Theme.. Oh, and MVP Voting

Hey team,

This weeks Game

Last week, as you know, we lost and thus we are once again tied with the dark green team for first place.  Rather than focus on the game last week lets just remember we are still in first place and we will stay there so long as we win this week against the light green team.

Our game is at 2pm this week and we are also responsible for providing refs for the game.  I will be one so we just need a second (though I think having a third wouldn't hurt (so we have someone at second base).

Hopefully we'll have a good turn out this week - I'm hoping we will have nearly the entire team so we can also get a team photo either before or after the game.  If we can't get a good group together this week then hopefully we can be a nearly complete team for the championship tournament on the 16th.

I know the following players will miss this week:  Sean Lynch, Lisa Ketchum, Jason Stadler, Tim Eves, and Sandy Eves.

As you can see we will be missing at least two of our female players so it is imperative that the rest of our ladies show up for our game.

Final Season Party\

The final party of the season is going to be Aug 22 and will start at 8pm at Mac-Reedo's.  The theme for the party will be Las Vegas and there will be a costume prize again (some form of gift certificate).  So come out in your best Las Vegas Style (Elvis, Cocktail Waitress, Slot Machine Loving Lady, Dealer, Bride + Groom, whatever..)

MVP Voting

Each team is responsible for selecting a team MVP and Most Spirited Player.  We have an online poll up at https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?hl=en&formkey=dE53VWNIaGg3OUFXX2s4cWJqX2RENXc6MA..: where you can vote for both.  The most spirited player award is intended as a way to recognize the person who brings the best attitude and sportsmanship to the team while the MVP award is for whomever you think has done the most to help our team win throughout the season.  

If for some reason you can't get to the form to vote please let me know and I'll try to fix it.

I will ref Bill. As far as playing, I was told not too...but with
this fancy shoe, I don't see why I can't. The MVP Form doesnt work
for me currently.

I was a "maybe" for this weekend, when we filled out the availability
form earlier in the season. I'll be outta town this weekend not sure
what time I'll be back on Sunday. How many girls does that leave
without Lisa, Sandy & myself? Prolly not enough....damn.

Also, the form does not work for me either.
