Just putting it on the radar. Figure we could all start and finish at the same time. I'd do the Creampuff ride (36 miles, 2,000' climbing) in about the same time as the rest of you did the Alpine Loop (110 miles, 10,000'). My hematologist would be much happier about my skipping the bombing descent down Reddish Knob. Sigh.

I just got PTSD from my memory of you bombing down some hill at the Alpine Fondo, doing 50-plus and hitting a little pothole and going superwobbly for a bit before getting thing back under control.

Ha, I'd forgotten that. Yikes. It popped me up on one wheel -- the front wheel. Thank god I was riding with my ass hanging off the back of the saddle in my aero "whale tail" position and didn't hit the brakes or I'd have done an endo. 

As I said, if I do this at all, I'll be riding the creampuff ride in the valley. No front wheelies.
