Some of you may have heard about this story when it broke a few years ago.  Here's the full drama unpacked of the Falls Church bike shop owner and former "pro" cyclist.  I know/knew the guy pretty well and rode on trainers in his shop.  Anyway, the story is totally crazy....and quite tragic too.

yeah, incredibly long and sometimes rambling.  I think he could have been more concise, clearly.   But untangling the web of lies and deceit took time.  Nearly two years of research for the piece. 

Apparently, there will be a podcast episode at some point in the next week.

Wow. Would like to hear your take on the guy at our next coffee ride. 

Amazing how many folks like this there are out there pretending to be, like, you know, government officials handing out million dollar scientific grants. That sort of thing.
