Now it is my turn to hit you up.

I am planning to do a charity ride called the BellRinger to raise funds for cancer research at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center.

The ride will take place on October 22nd, starting at Georgetown and ending in Urbana (Maryland, I assume, and not Illinois). They haven't released the exact route, but it looks as though it traces much of our Poolesville and Sugarloaf rides. One-way ride (shuttle back, to DC). That's a 50-miler which will be double my longest ride in the four years since I was first diagnosed and about ten times my typical ride. Of course, it's a supported ride, so ... piece of cake, right? I'll begin training for it next month.(There are also 25- and 100-mile versions. Pass.)

Any donations gratefully accepted. Click here to donate:  https://bellringer.org/rider/greggsolomon2094

I note that the ride will be on public roads, so, in lieu of a cash donation, if you wanted to do part of the ride with me, bandit-like, I'd accept a pull. In the meantime, I remain,

Importuningly yours,
Gregg
