Which Strelka to use?

Hello,

I can see there is Strelka workflow and Strelka app standalone. It seems that workflow is rarely updated while that is not the situation with the app. In addition, I tried them both and I got worst results (although on simulated datasets) on the standalone app that is newer. 

So to keep it short, which tool should we use for best results?
