2024 Advocacy Agaenda

Good morning.

I'm emailing because I wanted to share with you Streets for People's 2024 Advocacy Agenda.

We are calling for $5 million in funding for traffic calming programs and for revisions to the city's inequitable street safety policies. We are proposing solutions that will invest in neighborhood-level traffic calming, the beautification and walkability of our commercial corridors, and improving access to city parks. 

We believe this is an agenda that everyone in the city can support -- urban or suburban, Democrat or Republican, young or old, East, West or South.

In the weeks and months ahead, we'll be meeting with city officials to push this agenda forward -- and we'll be reaching out to you for help in elevating this platform. Thanks in advance for your advocacy. And please stay tuned.
