"KYTC is hosting this event so you can learn about proposed improvements designed to enhance safety, accessibility, and mobility for all roadway users—especially pedestrians—along one of Louisville’s busiest urban corridors. Review design concepts, ask questions, and share your feedback with the project team."
We hope to see this work transform our streets & neighborhoods into vibrant, active places, where walking, biking, and transit are an option for people of all ages and abilities.
Bold, transformational work like reducing car travel lanes, driving lane width reductions, shorter crosswalk crossings, concrete curb bump outs, new greenspace, unique place making features, traffic calming to slow drivers to the speed limit, safer intersections, larger sidewalks with buffers, in-lane TARC stops, and even new car parking to protect people walking and dining.
Thank you for your ideas and feedback to KYTC!
