Friends,

I assume we're not meeting tonight.

Frankly, I've been pretty swamped the past two weeks and unable to dedicate to much time to StreetCode work (content creation + partner outreach). However, I have a meeting planned with someone that works as a community development consultant on Friday - hopefully that will be a good way to jumpstart things. I'll share any ideas that spring up afterwards.

I'm still looking forward to getting some legs on this project. I think mid-March is still a reasonable target for implementing a pilot program. Let's not let it fade!

QRly,

Sheikh

I too have been completely overwhelmed with work, pulling a few late nights this week. I was thinking, would you guys be up for a casual meeting next week. We can do some StreetCode shop talk and updates, but mostly to get sometime to just hang out and share some laughs together. I think laughter is good fuel for work :) What do you all think?

One thing I forgot to add, I think spouses, lady friends, and man friends should join use too on that evening. It would be good to get the people we are closest too excited about this as well, so when we are extending our free time to make this happen they have our support. That was just a thought :)

Good idea, Dani.

A change of venue might be motivating - let's say meeting next Wednesday at 6pm at the bar downstairs from StartPad, Fado Irish Pub?

Fantastic idea! But I have a conflict that night, I volunteer for the LINK Program (at risk youth art program) and we are having our annual volunteer appreciation evening at Elysian Fields in Pioneer Square 6-8pm. Anyone up for switching nights or switching venues so I can do both?

And I'm still up for a pot luck dinner at my place, anytime that we can all seem to squeeze on our calendars :-)

I'm fine with shifting things to Thursday night if you can make it Kristine - does that work for everyone else?

If not, let's stick with Wednesday.

No more discussion needed - be there or be square. Next Thursday @ 6pm is confirmed.

Looking forward to connecting with the whole team!
