New StreetCodes member - Michael Gregory

Hi team!

We have a new member joining the StreetCode team - Michael Gregory.
He's going to be working on the web development side of things. I
gave him
pointers to our current site, and he'll be starting to get familiar
with the code this week. He's going to be able to spend much more
time per week than
Andre and I have been able to up until now - so I'm hopeful he'll be
able to move the project forward from the dev side of things.

Immediate project goals:

- Get a trial running with 5 homeless people to test the willingness
of donors to scan and complete a donation.
- A/B test paying directly on phone vs. notification to
Facebook/email for later payment.
- Talk with potential partners to test willingness to provide
StreetCodes kits and fullfill donations.
- Investigate options for payment processing (Stripe, PayPal, FaceCash)

Can I get a show of hands on who is able to come to the Wednesday
meeting this week?

I'm off to the "Hold-Up" (I think just Sheikh and I are going) - this
should be fun to talk to students about our project.

BTW - next week I go on vacation - back March 5th. Andre - when will
you be available on Wed nights?

The night with the students was pretty great - lots of good ideas; but
generally very supportive of our plans.

Sorry I wasn't able to make it last night! I had a lecture at the UW for AIGA and was hosting the speaker who came all the way from Paris France. I vow to make time moving forward, the start of the year is always the toughest as AIGA rolls out our programming so I'm inundated with strategy and annual planning. This is letting up and I'll have more time to focus on the things I love, like Street Code. Count me in 100%.

Street Code is becoming Street Codes, and we don't seem to have a vector version of the logo or the font name. Do you know were we could find either of these so that the logo can be updated? I apologize in advance if this has been asked by anyone else on the team :)
