I just released a new and improved version of StreamStar but I screwed up the version number so it just went from v1.11 to v1.2! Other than confusion that shouldn't cause any problems. Maybe I'll make the next release v2.0.
Lots of new features and improvements. This was probably the most work I've done on the app in-between releases. Here's a list of the new features:
- Native SSH port forwarding support (see instructions on the StreamStar website for how to enable--thank the government).
- M3U playlist file support.
- Support for more audio file formats.
- Song shuffle.
- Preference settings window.
- Alert tone now sounds when end of playlist is reached or playback error occurs.
- Lots of other minor improvements and bug fixes.
Note that this will probably be the last version to support Android v2.x. Time to upgrade your devices people!
