眼見的事物是多么靠不住，所以神必須保守我們在看不見的事物
里，這是多么要緊的一回事！如果一只鳥兒要飛，他必須離開牆垣和
樹枝單獨信賴他的翅膀。如果他要接近地面，他飛行的工作就要受到
虧損。

亞伯拉罕必須先看見自己的力量完了，自己不能在作什么了，自
己已經死了然后才肯完全讓神來作﹔當他不看自己，單獨信靠神的時
候，他才能完全相信﹔神所允許的必能作成。這就是現在神所要我們
學習的功課﹔神必須拿去一切鼓勵我們的東西，直到我們能夠不憑東
西來信靠他﹔那時候他就要叫他的話語成為事實。∼宣信
