adding upload_column..

i have been following a previous post on adding upload_column to my
streamlined interface, and i am almost there.. running into one
problem..

i am trying to add the following to make a multipart form:

<% options[:html] = {:onsubmit=>'Streamlined.Form.submit(this); return
false;', :multipart => true} %>


but when i run this, i am getting:

undefined local variable or method `options' for #<ActionView::Base:
0x2581270>

is there something that i am missing?
