Connecting to domain or IP addtess

I am able to connect with hub.connect("http://hostname:7878/");

But if I try hosname.foo.com or 1.2.3.4 it does not connect.

We have lots of different subnets here so I need a fully qualified
name.
How do I do this?

are you configuring your NAT on your firewall, and/or configuring your apache / IIS to properly forward port 7878.

please keep in mind that the domain of your host website must be the same as the domain you have streamhub running on.
