Hi,

I'm new to this, so I'm experiencing a problem that is pretty basic.
I've gone through the installation and the examples work very well. I
went through the first tutorial but I keep getting a 404 error when
directing my browser to localhost:7878. The server starts and stops
as it should, the log documents this, and I haven't modified the
tutorial code. I compiled the class with 2.0.15 rather than 2.0.2 (as
the tutorial suggests) but other than that, I followed the
instructions thoroughly. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance,
Harlo

Never mind! Got it working. Should have held off sending emails for
help before exhausting all my options.

Turns out, my Apache server wasn't seeing my directory.

Thanks,
Harlo

"Apache server wasn't seeing my directory"
What did you do?

Thanks in advance,
Raymond

you have to point apache to your streamhub using a directive. Its like a pointer for the directory which you want to server. streamhub is working properly, but there is nothing connecting it to anything external. This is what apache is used for. You could also use tomcat alternatively too, but you will need to write some wrapping classes which extend streamhub.... IE create a web service for streamhub.
