Offline Google Maps in STRAVA

Hi,

I just wanted to develop an APP for tracking lie how STRAVA does. i.e.., I need to show the user location and distance travelled on a Google Map like how STRAVA shows in their APP.

I wanted to know the technologies behind this APP. Did STRAVA partnered with Google to provide this facility.? Is STRAVA using any Third-party API like Mapbox,OpenStreetMap.

Please help me suggesting the details behind this so that it will be helpful to me.
