Multiple API applications?

Hi,

It would seem that a single user can only have a single registered API application. That's slightly unfortunate, one user might
want to create more than one API application. I realize that a user could use the same client ID for different applications (but
the application name/info that is shown to the user when authorizing would always be the same, defeating the purpose somewhat).

I guess it would be possible to create a new Strava account just to be able to create a new API application, but is that OK?
Can one user have multiple Strava accounts without being frowned at by Strava?

It is OK to create a new Strava account to create a new API application, provided that the additional API application is to be used for test purposes, and isn't intended to bypass Strava's API rate limits. In addition, I think it's reasonable to have two Strava accounts for two separate API applications, if they are truly distinct applications. I don't expect Strava to support multiple registered API applications for a given user in the near term.

Hi,

We would like to have one desktop version of our Strava solution and one cloud hosted one. These should be different OAuth client IDs in my opinion, is it OK to go ahead and create a second Strava account to support this use case?
