How to upload photo's via Strava API

Some apps like Zwift have a feature to upload images (or image URLs?) to Strava. This is not documented in the API docs.

We would like to know if this is possible and what the restrictions are (eg. use of logo watermark,...). Formerly, Zwift had a bar featuring their logo on the images but this seems to have been removed by them.

It would be incredibly useful to have this capability and it would open up a new area of integration that, in my opinion, would benefit both Strava and the developers tremendously.

The ability to add photos on upload is currently limited to partner apps & devices such as Zwift, Peloton, TrainerRoad, etc... Given that the ability isn't in the public API, neither are the docs.

Thank you for the update. I would like to know if anyone has tried adding photos via:

[POST] https://developers.strava.com/docs/reference/#api-Activities-createActivity

Eg:

$ http POST "https://www.strava.com/api/v3/activities" photo='URL' name='value' type='value' start_date_local='value' elapsed_time='value' description='value' distance='value' trainer='value' commute='value' "Authorization: Bearer [[token]]"

Also I would like to know what are the requirements or application process for a partner app?  Thanks
