I know the Activity API has before/after and paging.  However for those really wanting to build a cached feed and then have a 'pull to refresh' kind of view, knowing the timestamp of when the activity was last changed (which could have been uploaded[new] or changed) would be more helpful.

I want to issue a request for activities.
Then later I want to say "get me all activities that have changed since [last timestamp I asked for activities]"

The before/after isn't exactly what I want because that is based on start date of the actual activity.  Heck I have friends that upload activities 2 months after the event...I just want to know WHEN the activity was changed.

Hi Tim, good question.  We don't currently provide the last updated date for an Activity from the API, or support an endpoint that will return activities updated since a given date.  I'm not aware of any plans to add this support.

When considering caching strategies, please keep in mind the Retention policies in our API Agreement (https://www.strava.com/api-agreement).

Best,
~Brian

Hi,

First, thanks for a great API!

Any chance this feature will be provided by the API in the future? I would like to periodically ask for recently modified activites for all athletes that have authorized my application. The Polar AccessLink provides such a feature and I would really appreciate if Strava can provide it too.

Best regards,
Mats
