On my current website, I want to organise a game. I want to use Strava data. Users on my website will have the possibility to connect their Strava account so I can get their activities. I have this questions:

- Is it allowed to store certain info (each activity of a user with the distance and speed) in my own database?
- I will organise the game on my website and I will use Strava data. Can I ask a small fee to my users to play the game?

Hi,

Per the terms, you can cache data for up to 7 days, but the rule is to make sure you display up to date info to the user. Stuff like activity speed and distance won't change, so you can cache that longer. Other things like athlete name and profile pictures should probably be checked every few days at least.

It is okay charge for services that use the API. However, if your application starts using a large amount of resources or other issue come up, we reserve the right to reevaluate this.
