ad campaign started

I started running an ad campaign today on boardgamegeek.,com in the strategy wargames section.  We'll see if that draws in any new players...

Does anyone have any other suggestions of sites I could advertise on to bring in new players?

I think you have to make sure the new players have to down load java first.  I tried to download the game on two computers and it wouldn't open the game.  Windows then looked on the internet to find the solucion, which led me to sites that could not open the game.  If I didn't Email you guys I would not have never got on the game.  It took me a week to finally get in the game.  One of the computers I still cannot open the game.  Chuck

Thanks for the suggestion Chuck.  I have modified the "Play" page to say Step 1: Download Java and install (with a link).

Microsoft has really been sticking it to java.  I had the same problem with my jnlp binding.  The wierd thing was that I couldn't even go "Open with..." and then select javaws to open jnlp files.  I had to download a third-party tool to restore the jnlp binding.  Ugh.

jnlp had such promise for delivering java programs, but now I'm starting to have my doubts...
