Thanks for the kind words Richtof.  We're always looking for new players!

As the author of the game, one of the things I find particularly rewarding about this project is how the players participate in the design process.  Many of the units and mechanics in the game were proposed by players, and players continue to lead design decisions.

I'm currently in the process of changing how supply works per an excellent discussion on the forum boards on how supply should work.  I got stumped on how to reconcile allied ammo with allied supply and a player suggested a very elegant solution to what was, for me, an intractable problem.  I like coding and I like playing--it's fun to get good suggestions from players and then code them into the game.

Not sure, I haven't played it for years.  It is open source, though, last change in 2021, so it kept going a long time after I stopped playing...and you can always put up a server of your own if you can't find one running!
