depended parameters - nesting?

Can a dependent parameter be dependent on another?

I have a situation where I want to allow the user to choose a taxon and
within a taxon, a chromosome and then depending on the chromosome choice
have another dependent flatVocabParams.

In both IE9 and Firefox 8, the third parameter fails to refresh when the
others are changed.

So I am thinking that even though the model allows me to specify this
sort of nested relationship, the functionality does not really exist.

Is this assessment correct?
