Subject: [UNFCCC youth] Applications OPEN: YOUNGO Global South Scholarships, DEADLINE Aug 24, 2017
To: Youth Participation to UNFCCC Process <unfccc...@googlegroups.com>

Dear YOUNGO,

Hope this finds you well.

So, after much anticipation...

We are very happy to inform you on behalf of the GSS Facilitation Committee that the applications for YOUNGO Global South Scholarships 2017 are now OPEN!!

These scholarships will cover all costs (travel, accommodation, food, visa local transport,...) of selected youth from Global South countries for the entire duration of COP23 and COY13 in Bonn, Germany from Nov 2 to Nov 18, 2017 and youth selected shall also be provided with online capacity building and policy trainings to prepare them for an effective participation at COP23.

The applications are open until the end of AUGUST 24, 2017. Please visit the website www.youngogss.org to read through all the details carefully and to submit an application for GSS 2017.

This specially crafted website should have all details you will need to know (benefits, eligibility, etc.). Yet should you still have questions, please feel free to reach out to us at  in...@youngogss.org. We would be very happy to answer them.

Also, please share this great information with everyone who might be interested - new people joining on your delegation for COP23, other delegations in your country/region, or any other interested folks you may know.

Finally, we would like to thank YOUNGO once again for the invaluable support provided to the GSS process over the last 2 months. Let us all work towards making sure the voices of young people, especially of those from Global South, are heard in an effective way for decision-making at the international level. Onwards!

Best wishes,

Tim, Yugratna, Julius and Sagar and Sagar

on behalf of GSS - Facilitation Committee
