Urgent Request for Immediate Safety Measures at the Unguarded Open Drain (KAILASH/LILLY)

Today, a major accident occurred due to the unguarded open drain near Lily/ Kailash. My wife and child, who were travelling in a Toto (e-rickshaw) around 2.30pm today, were involved in the incident, the toto completely tumbled and fell over my wife's hand, which could have resulted in serious injuries.
The open drain poses a significant safety and health hazard to all residents, particularly during the rainy season when it becomes difficult to identify due to poor visibility and water on the road. Such negligence can lead to severe accidents involving children, elderly residents and vehicles.
I sincerely request the committee to take immediate corrective and safety measures, such as barricading or covering the drain, without any further delay. Prompt action is essential to prevent any future mishaps and ensure the safety of all residents.
