I reviewed this along with Kutub Da, , Rahul and Subhojit.

The current work of trying to raise the levels of parking is only a temporary solution and should be discontinued apart from 2-3 parkings where there is excessive seepage.

Instead this needs a civil contract for a 3 step work :

1. First should be to repair the external wall and build a 2 feet wall inside with 5-6 inch gap from main wall. Details are known by our technical team.this was also discussed earlier in our meeting a month back .

2. Once the wall is build all the parking area should be raised 2-3 inches by piling roughage and finishing off with Rough Dhalai. This will be. Permanent solution for the parking lot . This will also include the closure of the pit where there used to be a pump earlier.

3. A 5 inch drainage (open ) should be constructed on the inside of the road to drain away the water accumulated during rain.this should be sloping towards the STP / WTP pot from where we have pumping options. This is why a civil vendor is required.

Additionally the drain outside wtp has to be seeled and the temporary pipeline replaced with PVC which will drain out the water from one of the holes behind the new inside wall.

The details are known by Kutub Da and team and we should finish this work in the next 2 months which gives us ample time for the rains.

I sent a picture of it. I think this hole needs to be closed urgently because we don't need it now because mosquitoes are being bred here.At one time, water was pumped from this area to an outside drain, but I don't think that's done anymore.

Dear All,

Let's us resume this work and take it towards completion before rainy season .Per my last conversation with Vendor , we are alligned on the design of creating a 1 to 1.5 wall internally which will act as a drainage and prevent further entry of water apart from other aspect of making the drain in front of tulip/orchid and raising the parking areas appropriately.

@Rahul as discussed, please speak with vendor, get the fresh / final quotation copy with all for approval in this mail chain.

The other two quotations apart from MJ Enterprise, do not have any specifications mentioned. Therefore it does not allow us to make a decision. We would want to know the IS grades and drain cover load bearing capacity. Please resubmit asap.

Respected Arijit Sir,
I had a discussion only with L1 and L2 vendors only (i.e., Azan Mali and MJ Enterprise).
For the Azan Mali quotation, the total covered area, slab thickness, wall thickness, and drain height were already mentioned earlier. However, they did not mention the material grade details in the previous quotation. Now they have submitted an updated copy of the quotation.
In the updated quotation, they have mentioned the following specifications:
- Concrete grade: M-15 with mixing ratio 1:2:4
- MS grill cover material: 304 grade
- Frame support: 40mm × 40mm × 6mm angle
- Cover: 12mm pati
- Finishing: Two coats of anti-corrosive paint
As per my understanding, this is the maximum level of detail they can provide, as they are not a highly organized or professional company like MJ Enterprise.
However, based on the details provided, I understand that both technical specifications are nearly the same, except that Azan Mali will make the frame with a 40mm angle, whereas MJ Enterprise will use a 50mm angle. The remaining specifications are almost similar.
Now it is up to you to decide with whom we should move forward for the further process.
Please find the attached updated quotation copy from Azan Mali for your reference. Feel free to reach out to me if any further clarification is required regarding this matter.

For your kind information, I would like to clarify a mistake in my previous comparison mail dated 13th May.
In the note section, it was mentioned that the 3rd vendor quoted the price without the drain cover. Based on that information, the remaining two vendors were considered as L1 and L2.
However, during further discussion, it was observed that the 3rd vendor was unable to provide the required technical details, as they are not a fully professional vendor in this field. Therefore, only the other two vendors should be considered for detailed technical comparison.
It was completely my mistake that I failed to mention this important point in the earlier mail. I sincerely apologize for this oversight and for any confusion or inconvenience caused due to this error.
For the further process, I will strictly follow the decision taken by the board members.
Once again, I deeply regret the inconvenience caused and request your kind understanding regarding the matter. Very Sorry for this.

I have a different opinion on this matter.Float a quotation with our need details , let the vendors visit the site and provide their quotation. We might get some better and cheaper options ,who knows. Let's not narrow it down by sharing one vendors specifications and quotation .

My preference would be L1 which gives us a benefit of approx 80k as compared to L2 ( Without GST).

Also as understood L1 is a govt contractor and has assured work quality which we need to ensure by Taking Malay Babu's involvement.

  • Liability Period is 3 Months,
  • Completion timeline 15 days,
  • For Drain cover maximum 4 ton car can move easily on it, single channel load capacity 1 ton.
