to Strangeheads
I dunno about the fractions I use in these Strangelings-related posts.
Thing is, the Strangelings have had a different number of musicians
almost every time I've seen them.
When it was just TK and C&M Thompson, a Thompsons show came out to 2/4
Strangelings. That was nice and neat.
But then came Rebecca and Ken -- and then Cheryl -- and then Eric!
And next weekend the temporary return of Meredith -- and so on and so
on. Hard to do the math.
Hence the designation of this post -- 2/x Strangelings. X as in
"Unknown" -- "Strange" -- "Variable."
Sunday, December 2 is Rebecca Hall & Ken Anderson's debut as
Hungrytown, at Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs.
They will be offering a door prize to everyone who comes to this one-
of-a-kind special show -- a pre-release Hungrytown CD.
Congratulations and best wishes to R&K on this new chapter in the
career of 2/x of the Strangelings. X-Rebecca Hall & Ken Anderson,
from now on Hungrytown.
Though they'll keep those other identities too, as their secret
identities -- their alter-egos. R&K are "Supers"! :-)
2/x Strangelings. The Strangelings are like the X-Men -- such powers
they have! :-)
TK have been forming a lot of "super"- groups lately. We've already
seen the Strangelings. What are TK and Red Molly calling themselves?
The Oddlings? :-)
Firesign Theater: "I Think We're All Bozos on This Bus." And the mad
one thinks we're all Strangeheads on *this* list. Oddfellows Local
151?
REM: "It's the End of the World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)." :-)
