Tivoli Parking

Anybody know what the parking situation will be like? Will it be
free, rates, or any trouble getting a spot at that parking garage
across the street?

Here's the blurb from the Landmark Tivoli website:

Parking is available in the municipal lot next to the theatre, in the
parking garage directly across the street, or in large, free lots
located just north of Delmar between Leland and Kingsland. Street and
garage parking meters are checked until 6pm Monday through Saturday.

The Tivoli info is all correct.  I have some more info and links on the travel page too at http://thestrangeloop.com/travel.  

You basically have a choice between:

- very close metered parking (which you have a good chance of being available) - many of these have 2-hour limits

- all-day fee parking on the roof of the parking garage directly across the street (limited number of spots)

- free parking at several large free lots (~1 block away)

In general, I would recommend the free lots unless you really don't want to walk that far at the end of the day or after the happy hour on Thursday.
