[StraightRazors] Bus trip

I just got back from Texas Monday. I drove my daughter (and
granddaughter) to San Angelo to br with husband/father. It was quite a
trip with that 17' Uhaul and trailer with car on the back. Still, it
was enjoyable and I enjoyed the travel.

I spent a few days there before traveling to East Texas (Jasper) on a
bus. This was my first time to ride a bus and it was really an
experience. I stayed in Jasper for a week, visiting my brothers,
sisters, and mother. From there I rode the bus to Colorado Springs.

You meet some interesting people on the bus. I meet this one fella who
lived in the mountains of Montana and prospected for Gold to make a
living. He had some tales to tell. He had prospected in Wyoming,
Colorado, Montana, etc. He was from Louisiana and had never gone to
school and he was 61 years old. This was just one of the interesting
people I met.

I also met an old friend I have known for years and yet never met face
to face, John Crowley. I had seen pictures of him. He was an extremely
nice guy and we talked for about and hour before I had to get on my
bus in Dallas.

All in all, I had a wonderful trip, although next time I think I will
drive my truck.
