I normally skip a day or two between shaves because I like the feel of going from stubble to smooth skin.  Last week, I skipped more than a couple days - I waited a whole week.  My stubble was past the itchy stage.  I prepped my mug, brush and razor and then took a hot shower.  After my hot shower I lathered up and shaved.  Often when I skip a few days, a second pass is not needed.  This was one of them.  Everything came off on the first swipe.  No nicks and no sting from my alcohol based aftershave.  I was very pleased with myself and the shave.  That was last Saturday night before I went in to work the overnight.  I just got home from work and was thinking about that shave, as I need to get up early and shave in the morning as I need to attend several meetings tomorrow.

It's been four days since my last shave and I'm looking forward to my next one.  That is something that I could not say truthfully with I was using the razors that is the norm in todays world.  I could shave in the morning with a Mach3 and easily could shave again at night.  With the DE, I can go a day and a half before the next shave.  With a straight, two maybe three days.  Although it's been four days since my last shave, I should have shaved a day or two ago, but with no meetings and working the overnight I am able to get away with not shaving.  :-)

I had a shave that was perfect last night. When everything is right
and no interuptions it is like another world. I am just now getting
some stubble, but could go anothe day if I wanted.
