MARCH 2013 MEETING
The Membership meeting will be held on March 7. Nikia Rice will give a
presentation on her organization Mission: Clean Beaches and Marine
Debris.
In addition, Cameron Jaggard, Senior Associate, Pew Environment Group,
will give a 15 minute presentation about one of The Pew Charitable
Trusts’ environmental initiatives to protect and conserve bluefin tuna
and more than 80 other types of marine life in the Gulf of Mexico and
Atlantic (aka the Gulf Surface Longline Campaign). He is scheduling
presentations to collect comments for a very important comment period
coming up in April.
