New shade trees at Battle Creek dog park - deadline 4/17!

Our good friend Jan Carr has been busy on our behalf once again!

Every year, Friends of RC Parks holds a tree sale. Jan has arranged
that this year, by using the form BC Trees in the file section of this
group, WE CAN DESIGNATE OUR TREES BE PLANTED IN THE NORTH MEADOW OF
THE DOG PARK.

He has even made an arrangement so that if you want to donate, but not
a whole tree, you can give at the level that you are comfortable
with. (See the flyer - it has two seperate detachable parts.)

Ramsey County will plant the trees, and keep them watered if we have
at least 15, so 15 is our goal. (They will be planted in three
clumps.)

I love this park, and hope you will join me in investigating the
leeway in your checkbook. I am going to do the Autumn Blaze Maple
(there are two choices), as it is supposed to be the faster growing.
