The Town of Stowe Electric Department (SED) will be holding a Smart
Metering Public Forum on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 7:00 p.m in
the theater at the Akeley Memorial Building, 67 Main Street, Stowe.
SED will be using this forum to provide information to the public on
SED's initiative to install, free of charge, smart meters with two-way
wireless communication in homes and businesses in its territory.
Also discussed at the forum will be two long-term purchase power
contracts that will be brought before voters on Town Meeting Day 2012.
