in their energy and climate future!

Stowe Energy & Climate Action Network (CAN) is excited to announce our
next Stowe CAN Green Drinks event. Join us at Black Cap Coffee on
Main Street in Stowe on Friday, September 30 from 5:00pm to 6:30pm.
We’ll talk a little bit (not much) about Stowe CAN and how you can get
involved, and hear from others about green news around town. Then,
we’ll eat, network and be Green! Free appetizers and local raffle

Go Green Leadership Award – nominations still wanted! Also, Stowe CAN
is still taking nominations for our Annual Go Green Leadership Award.
We are looking to honor one individual, one for profit organization
and one non-profit organization for leadership and commitment to
energy conservation, alternative energy and greenhouse gas reduction.
Nomination submissions should summarize the key actions taken by the
nominee to mitigate climate change, reduce carbon emissions and/or
energy use. Include details on how the organization or individual’s
actions have positively impacted the organization or community and/or
how the actions can be sustained or modeled by others. Be sure to
include a contact name, email address, mailing address and telephone
number for the representative of the organization or individual being
nominated. Nominations are due by October 1st and we will tally the
votes on October 15th. You can email your nomination to

there making a difference!
