Wisconsin Rugby Club scores emphatic 84-7 victory over the visiting Metropolis (MN) RFC

WRC wing Chris Bauch (Univ. of Minnesota) scored the first try at the seven minute mark, opening the gates to a deluge of points. In total, nine players scored for the defending National Champion Wisconsin Rugby Club who further asserted their dominance in the Midwest.

Man of the Match went to WRC Flyhalf Miles Jobke (Univ. Wisc-Whitewater) who tallied a personal best 29 points on the day with two penalties, nine conversions and a try.

Metropolis RFC had amassed two victories at home to open the Fall 2013 season before traveling 260 miles to Cottage Grove, WI Saturday to face the WRC and its eleven month unbeaten streak. The shorthanded visitors from Minneapolis showed great guts and determination by scoring a converted try in the 61st minute despite the already lop-sided score line.

WRC Scoring Summary vs. Metropolis
