BOULDER, Colo. – Locations have been finalized for eight divisions of the 2014 USA Rugby Emirates Airline National Championship Series.

Spanning five locations, this year’s collegiate playoffs will both begin and end at Stanford University.

Starting Friday, April 25, four Women’s Division I, four Women’s Division II, and four Men’s Division I-AA teams will converge on Stanford University’s Steuber Rugby Stadium, a rugby-specific venue in the heart of Stanford’s historic California campus. Action will take place there through Sunday afternoon.

Saturday, April 26, and Sunday, April 27, the collegiate playoffs will kick off further east in four additional locations: Cochrane Stadium, a 2,133-seat stadium at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio; the Tennessee Rugby Park, a rugby-specific venue in Knoxville, Tenn.; the East Athletic Fields at Penn State University in State College, Penn.; and the Atlanta Old White Rugby Facility in Atlanta, Ga.

The top four teams from each division will then meet for the semifinals and finals of the 2014 USA Rugby Emirates Airline National Championship Series at Stanford University May 9-11, with three action-packed days of rugby in the Bay Area.

Additionally, it has been finalized that the Men’s Collegiate Division I-A Championship will also take place during USA Rugby’s premier college weekend, to be held the evening of May 10. Playoff weekends leading up to the final will see rugby played from April 19 to May 3.

The following weekend will see the top 40 senior club programs participate in the 2014 Men’s DI/DII/DIII and Women’s DI/DII national quarterfinals and semifinals, held May 17-18. Teams from the western United States will return to Spring Trail Park in Irving, Texas, conveniently near the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport; teams from the eastern United States will gather at Founders Field in Pittsburgh, Penn., home of the Pittsburgh Harlequins.

Following USA Rugby’s 2013-2014 Club Rugby Restructure, the western and eastern champion from each division will then play a single match for their division’s national championship, with matches held May 31 and June 1 at historic Breese Stevens Field in Madison, Wisc. The 4,000-seat downtown venue is an idyllic rugby venue in the backyard of the 2013 Men’s Senior Club Division II National Champion Wisconsin Rugby Club.
