Awesome thank you so much for your help. Just 2 more questions will the mach3 board have a spot to put the torch relay? Also here is a pic of my current board. Does the 36v mean it can handle 36v if needed?

Your photo is not very clear, but it is not the original Mach3 controller. It is a newer, Gen2, type controller. You can only get a replacement from Langmuir Systems. Contact their support team, they will have replacement parts.
For what its worth, your machine was one of the first that we assembled, and we admittedly were preloading the bearings excessively. Around machine 100, we reduced the amount of preload we apply during assembly.
I would recommend disconnecting the lead nut after installing the new bearing and checking to see how freely the carriage moves on the rail. You should be able to move the carriage by pushing on the far end of the gantry tube. If not, your bearings are likely too tight.
I pulled off the lead screw and tried to move it from the farthest point on the x axis and it moves but binds up and stops right about 3/4 up the tube. That was without one bearing block attached too.
The Y axis carriage has 8 bearing block assemblies, 4 per side. Each side has two fixed bearing blocks and two adjustable bearing blocks. The holes that are used to secure the adjustable bearing blocks are slotted for preloading against the rail. Below is an image showing where the fixed and adjustable bearing blocks are installed:
The following image is a cross section of one of the adjustable bearing blocks. Screwing in the set screw applies pressure to the woodruff key cam which reacts against the bearing block mounting flange. This in turn drives the bearing block assembly into the Y axis Rail.
Bonus Step: If you are feeling inclined, remove the lead nut/lead screw and traverse the carriage by hand. You should be able to grab the gantry at the end and move the carriage from one end to the other.
Awesome write up. I got my old bearings out but really roughed up the aluminum and the anodized red coating. To get them out you almost need a fixture to hold them they just want to kick out otherwise.
hey everyone I got my crossfire back in April (2019) and a bearing just broke apart, I use my crossfire just about everyday for something, not sure if this could be the issue but i cut a lot of aluminum (5052) I am thinking it might be the dust from getting in the bearing just a thought, I did contact Langmuir for a replacement.
So I had the same problem a little while ago and got a price on bearing set for my Y axis I think they were $50 per side plus $50 shipping which was reasonable but I ended up Replacing two bearings I had the exact same bearings laying around from an old computer printer I set up a little Jake using the voice and pressing the pin into a socket that just fit over the other end the way lotta guys change universal joints in the driveshaft I will try to post pictures of it later
I have had quite a few bigger bearing go. My biggest issue with the floating X axis is the inconsistent weight distribution. the bearings they use are prolly cheap china bearings. If you really wanted to step up to some ceramic skateboard bearings. Powell makes famous Bones bearings that every industry relates to. They are expensive but would last much longer. Basically just look up skateboard bearings and pick a decent one. $50 for 8 would be average price.

Note:
You have to work with the electric parts when doing a replacement of the alternator. Disconnect the battery, the negative terminal ! When disconnecting the battery the alarm and radio will be reset, be sure to have any codes that's needed!
After you have disconnected the battery, always the minus cable first! You can take away the filter cover. Put something over the air inlet to the engine, you don't want to drop something into that hole!
The serpentine belt has a spring loaded idler pulley at arrow 1. Below it is a nut, arrow 2, which can be rotated to release the force from the spring and then pull the serpentine belt aside. Take a photo of it before so you know how to put it back.
Just an ordinary tool. Note you must disconnect the battery before, you don't want to loose your fingers because that the electric fan start, very dangerous! Always disconnect the minus cable from the battery first !
How to proceed from here I'm not sure of because I didn't do it myself. But you have to disconnect two cable on the backside of the alternator, one thick with the main battery cable and one with a socket to the field terminal.

German Sonnenland Canvas is the original German made canvas used in many Mercedes, Porsche, BMW and other convertibles. It's general construction is very similar to the other two canvases. It is hard to tell the surfaces apart among the three. But the manufacturing specifications make this the longest lasting top. There is an approximate twenty percent greater wear rating for Sonnenland than for Haartz Stayfast. Some of this is due to the abrasion resistance of the exterior canvas. This is a factor in certain tops where the framework design tends to produce friction between the top's surface and the car's hardware. (It is a well known 'trade secret' that the Haartz Division of Glen Raven Mills purchased the Sonnenland factory.)
Sonnendeck Canvas (also called 'Twillfast') is an American made canvas, true double texture topping like the Haartz Stayfast. Many purists who own Mercedes and other German cars want to see the particular German weave (that is called "dobby weave") when they look up inside the car. Haartz Stayfast canvas has a plain (unwoven) inner lining. So for Porsche, Mercedes and BMW owners who will spend a little more in order to see that "dobby" weave we offer a fabric called Sonnendeck (in addition to the original German Sonnenland or Happich canvas. The wear rating of Sonnendeck is also greater than for Haartz, by perhaps 10%. This is due to the slightly heavier inner lining and subtle bonding specification differences.
Haartz Stayfast Canvas has a canvas outer layer and a preshrunk cotton inner layer. The two are bonded with and separated by a butyl rubber core. It is this core that makes the fabric last a very long time, with both better static and dynamic wear ratings than vinyl toppings. Haartz Stayfast is the American substitute for the German canvases used in Mercedes, Porsche, BMW, some models of Mustang and Lebaron and others. Canvas is widely regarded as "richer looking" than vinyl. It is a little harder to clean. The inside of the top is pre-shrunk cotton. The inner lining is usually black.

Hot water pressure washers require a variety of components to deliver fuel to the burner system. These items are in constant use and are sometimes forgotten in a general maintenance service. Often pressure washer burner parts are replaced only when the burner no longer ignites, and the user experiences loss of hot water.
To keep your burner system functioning properly, we recommend general maintenance at least bi-annually, with replacement of the burner fuel nozzle and electrodes, and examination of the fuel pump and igniter.
The CROSSFIRE XR's 750lb heavy-duty C-channel frame can support full 1" thick steel sheets and the structural 65 gallon water table is reinforced with a tubular frame to facilitate sliding large pieces of material into place.
CROSSFIRE XR uses 1/2" Ball Screws for superior positional accuracy, faster accelerations, and less backlash compared to rack and pinion machines. The ball screws remain stationary while the driven ballnuts are rotated to avoid the whipping effect.
Know what's going on with your CROSSFIRE XR from across your shop with the Z-Axis guard and included LED status indicator. Glowing green and everything is OK- flashing red alerts you to problems with your cut.
Be more productive while the XR does the hard work. The CROSSFIRE XR enables your shop to make more parts and projects. Nest your cuts on full sheets of material to cut with minimal material loading and waste.
Your CROSSFIRE XR comes with exclusive access to our CROSSFIRE XR technical support team. Whether its quick troubleshooting to get you back up and cutting or help with your particular program, Langmuir Systems is here for you.
