Our GPS fleet tracking mobile app allows you to take your businesswherever you go.1 View vehicles andassets on a live map, locate a driver, see vehicle activity and routehistory, and receive alerts on driver behaviors.
Fleet tracking is a management system that uses GPS to monitor theactivity of tracked assets (vehicles, workers, equipment). It is oftenreferred to as vehicle tracking or AVL. The fleet is generally acollection of land-based assets such as cars, trucks, field workers andequipment (powered and unpowered e.g. trailers).
Fleet tracking uses telematics technology to collect data from a fleetof assets. This data is normally collected in near real time (actively)so it is more useful for fleet managers, who use the data to makestrategic decisions about operations (which vehicle should I dispatch toa new job, where is the nearest crane, how many generators do we have inthe yard, has my lone worker returned from the jobsite etc).
Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) have replaced paper HOS logbooks andare now legally required by commercial drivers. We offer a range of ELDsolutions andhave several devices certified with the FMCSA.
We work hard to make our GPS fleet tracking software is nice to look at, userfriendly and focused on helping you get stuff done. When you join us, we guideyou every step of the way with our new user onboarding program and access tolots of training guides if you need them.
We understand that as your business grows our software needs to adapt. Our flexible platform and access to the full range of mobile resourcemanagement products makes it easy to add solutions over time.
Run historical reports on up to 2 years of fleet data to uncover insightful trends, support investigations and extrapolate reliable forecasts. Cloud-based storage is regularly backed up and replicated.
View video clips of harsh driving events within minutes of them happening. Know how severe an event was with harsh driving classifications to help you coach your drivers. Help mitigate risk and liability with unbiased footage.
Set custom alerts for your drivers based on speeding, idling, harsh braking, and more. Want drivers to slow down in the rain or snow? Trigger a lower-limit speeding alert when the vehicle wipers are active.
Get valuable insight on map locations with the most current and comprehensive satellite imagery commercially available. Includes both Streetside and Birds Eye views for extra detail. New images added daily.
Securely share a restricted view of your fleet activities to third parties. Set limits on what data can be seen and for how long. Ideal for work order confirmation, storm recovery or disaster response work.

Yesterday I was working with Vehicle Tracking and left a path in the file when I saved, closed C3D and went home for the day. Today the grip editing isn't working. It just moves the entire path like it is a block. I downloaded and installed the grip editing hotfix four days ago. Is there a way to get the grip edits to work other than just erasing the path and redrawing it? That is not a big once, but a bit of a nuisance if it happens all the time.
This is a late reply, but I just ran into what I think is the same issue recently. Using AutoCAD 2018, I noticed that all of my grips were gone and I could not edit the path of the vehicle UNTIL I reactivated the Vehicle Tracking module. Simply opening the Vehicle Tracking Explorer and then closing it without doing anything else was enough to reactivate the grips on my existing path.
I agree, we should have been notified of this unusual behavior. I can't think of anywhere else something like this happens. Can you simply make the license acquisition happen when we click on a vehicle path and Vehicle Tracking is installed on the computer?
BTW, my C3D license is a stand alone license, as is my VT license. Saturday I will move from IDSP license with VT to AECC, but it again is stand alone. Will this still happen when I install the new version next summer when SP 1 comes out for AECC 2019? I typically wait for SP 1 before installing any new versions.
Per the supplied screencast, I have created a custom report in a drawing (changes the visual style / colours of the default Vehicle Tracking) and have gone through the steps to make it the default report style (im assuming this is the correct process, documentation and help on vehicle tracking is quite limited). I then switch to another drawing and would like to enable this created custom report, yet there is no option to select it.
Its a shame that the report changes arent "live / shared" between existing drawings (perhaps that can be a suggested feature in an update?) but atleast the reports can still be used. Creating a new drawing while xref'ing the previous drawing is a good idea!
I would like to add a wish to this question for Autodesk to develop/implement in Vehicle tracking. It would be great to make it possible to export and import reports and/or copy a report from one vehicle to another in the same drawing. Say youve made 3 paths with different report styles. It would be nice if there was an option at Report Wizard "Copy report" and then just click on the desired vehicle and the report settings will apply! It would make this program so much easier for the users since you now need to make new reports for every single vehicle if you havent set your custom report from the beginning.
