Subject: Re: Climate Change Modeling

Greetings,

I am looking for available models, which can simulate climate change, especially in context of water resource management(river, lake).

I would appreciate if list members can please share their experiences with such kind of models, which they may have used in performing climate change analysis, and any particular preferred model for the purpose.

Thanks

Hi Gaurav
In New Zealand NIWA (National Institute or Water & Atmosphere research) have produced a HIRDs (High Intensity Rainfall Design system). It enables us to predict different ARI (aka Return Period) events as a function of global warming temperature changes. It may be a help, in principle.

URLS (last one is the "bottom line" )
NIWA home: http://www.niwa.co.nz/
NIWA>PacificRim: http://www.niwa.co.nz/our-science/pacific-rim
NIWA>HIRD: http://www.niwa.co.nz/software/hirds
NIWA>HIRD>PREDICTION: http://hirds.niwa.co.nz/
Input data:
1 Lat/Long.
2. >>>>>>Projected temperature changes .... °C
Output Table Format
Depth-Duration-Frequency or Intensity-Duration-Frequency
