I wonder if the "street" links are connected to the bottom elevation of
the traplow storage node? I think they should connect at an offset just
below the top rim of the traplow depression. Doing this should reduce
the amount of storage that the streets contribute. The same applies to
Ben's comment about storage nodes in general. If your inflow channel
invert is the same as that of the storage node you are going to get a
backwater condition (especially at low slopes) in the channel once the
storage node starts filling, since the stored volume acts like a
hydraulic brake.
